I think that Betsy Ross and Francis Hopkinson made the flag together.Hopkinson had the idea of the flag and design.While Betsy owned a sewing shop.Betsy had a paper star.They worked together to make the flag possible.Since Hopkinson had the idea of the flag sketched out,Betsy had the star so maybe they could work together and make the flag work.They knew who each other were and they talked.Francis had already been in congress.Betsy had made a flag before for the naval flag.Francis came up for the design of the naval flag as well.Congress did not have a design for the nations’ flag.So they had to reuse a flag they all ready made.They were going to Create a new flag and that’s what betsy helped on.She had the design all ready Because of Francis Hopkinson.They had the plan of making the flag have six pointed stars,but that was a sign of english royalty.So maybe five stars would be better. They planed to have a flag different than all the others.
